Shantae 2021

Apart from my heart being snapped in half by Mr. Sakurai, I still made it an excuse to draw one of my favorite videogame characters, Shantae! I remember during Smash 4's fighter ballot era that I became obsessed with her and drew her all the time. I even voted for her in the ballot along with Princess Daisy. In general I love the simplicity of Shantae's design and color palette. It's something that has stood the test of time for almost 20 years, and for an Indie franchise that is very impressive. I was going to draw this for my livestream on Twitch, but I got too excited. But she will appear again on the livestream when I give her Smash Bros Alternates! Please stay tuned for that this week!
